Tunisian President Receives Egypt's FM

Tunisian President Kais Saied received Tuesday Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry at Carthage Palace.

The Tunisian presidency said, in a statement on its Facebook page, that Shoukry conveyed a message to Saied from President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.

The Tunisian President renewed his thanks to Egypt, the leadership and people, for the noble stand of solidarity with Tunisia in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic, which translated the common feeling of brotherhood, solidarity and synergy.

Saied also affirmed his firm keenness to continue strengthening the existing relations of coordination and cooperation between the two countries. He stressed that Egypt's security and stability are part of Tunisia's security and stability.
