Tunisian President Kais Saied receives invitation from his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping to attend the next session of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC), which will be held in Beijing in September.
The Tunisian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement on Friday that Foreign Minister Nabil Ammar received the invitation letter from Chinese Ambassador to Tunisia Wang Li during a meeting at the ministry.
The two sides discussed upcoming bilateral and multilateral events to be held in China, particularly the China-Arab Cooperation Forum, which will be held this month.
They also discussed ways to raise relations between the two countries to a higher level and develop bilateral cooperation in various priority areas for Tunisia.
