Tunisian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nabil Ammar, and his Libyan counterpart Al-Taher Al-Baour discussed the regional situation and the process of bilateral cooperation.
In a statment, Tunisian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the meeting came on the sidelines of the Tunisian minister’s participation in the eighth Ministerial Forum of the Union for the Mediterranean.
The two sides affirmed the identical views of the two countries on the situation in the Middle East and the urgent need to reach a permanent ceasefire in the Palestinian territories.
In this regard, they underlined the necessity of implementing international humanitarian law and providing urgent humanitarian aid to the brotherly Palestinian people and supporting their efforts to regain their legitimate rights.
