Tunisian Artists Finally Establish 1st Artistic Syndicate

The first Tunisian artistic syndicate's board was announced on Wednesday after its official creation yesterday.

Veteran singer Lotfi Bouchnak was elected as the chairman of the administrative board. On the other hand, singer Saber Rebai was elected as the syndicate's general secretary.

Several artists and singers joined such as Nabiha Karawli, Ghazi Ayadi, Nawel Ghachem as deputy general secretaries.

Latifa, Noureddine Beji, Chokri Bouzayen, and other artists joined the administrative committee.

The main reasons for establishing it is calling for the Tunisian artists' rights and preserving their dignity.

Singer Latifa who is one of the syndicate's founders explained that Tunisia's artists deserve all respect and appreciation nationally and internationally.
