Egypt's Cairo News Channel reported the arrival of the first Tunisian aid plane at El-Arish Airport, in preparation for its onward journey to the Gaza Strip.

Diab Al-Louh, the Palestinian Ambassador to Cairo, expressed his gratitude to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi for Egypt's support of the Palestinian cause.

He also commended Cairo's rejection of the displacement of Palestinians.

During a press conference, the Palestinian Ambassador in Cairo stated that the Israeli government sponsors state terrorism and engages in discriminatory actions in occupied Jerusalem.

He emphasized that the Gaza Strip is facing a genuine humanitarian catastrophe, with 14 hospitals and over 30,000 residential units destroyed.

Al-Louh called for urgent international protection for the Palestinian people and urged the international community to halt Israeli airstrikes and work immediately to end the occupation.

The Palestinian Ambassador to Cairo reaffirmed his country's commitment to Egyptian mediation for Palestinian reconciliation.

He stressed that they completely reject any forced displacement or pushing citizens toward the Egyptian borders.

Al-Louh acknowledged President El-Sisi's statement regarding the 9 million guests in Egypt, referring to refugees who have faced difficult circumstances in their home countries.

However, he highlighted that the situation is different for the Palestinian people, as their cause remains of paramount importance.

Egypt is determined to keep the Palestinian issue alive and on the diplomatic, political, and legal agenda, seeking a just resolution based on the two-state solution.
