Tunisian Minister of Foreign Affairs Nabil Ammar affirmed his country’s keenness to develop cooperation relations with South Korea, whether at the bilateral or tripartite level (Tunisian-Korean-African).
This came during Ammar's meeting with representative of the Korean government and the Executive Director of the Korea-Africa Summit, Jeong Ki-hong.
He praised the distinguished relations between Tunisia and Korea and the bilateral cooperation programs of a tangible nature, which are consistent with Tunisia’s priorities, especially in the field of investment and good governance, underlining the importance of developing multilateral cooperation and win-win partnerships similar to the Korea-Africa partnership.
For his part, the South Korean official praised the strength of historic relations with Tunisia, stressing his country's commitment to continuing to support cooperation with Tunisia, especially in priority development areas.
He expressed his country's aspiration for Tunisian participation at the highest level in the Korea-Africa Summit, which will be hosted in Seoul on June 4-5.
