Truth Social to Be Launched on Apple's App Store

The former US President and businessman Donald Trump will launch his social media application, Truth Social, on Apple's App Store tomorrow, Al Ain reported on Sunday.

The Chief product officer Billy B. said: "We’re currently set for release in the Apple App store for Monday, February 21."

Early this week, Donald Trump Jr. posted on Twitter a screenshot of the verification of his father's Truth account, captioning it by: "Get Ready! Your favourite President will see you soon!”

According to a report by Forbes, the value of the “Trump Media and Technology Group”, which was launched by former US President “Donald Trump” earlier this year, amounts to $10 billion.

The company plans to merge with special purpose acquisition company (SPAC), whose stock has jumped from $10 to $60 on average over the past month, buoyed by the news.

It is worthy to mention that Trump is suspended from all social platforms after the incident of Capitol Riots last year.

Facebook was one of the platforms that suspended the former US President last year and for two years. The leading corporation.

The suspension of the account started a day after the famous Capitol riots that led to significant violence in US capital streets.

The leading social media platform accused Trump of calling for violence which is against Facebook regulations for users’ public safety.

The term of suspension will include the duration of Trump’s initial block to 2023. However, he may come back to the social network in 2024.

Facebook’s Director of Global Affairs Nick Clegg said: “Given the gravity of the circumstances that led to Mr. Trump’s suspension, we believe his actions constituted a severe violation of our rules which merit the highest penalty available under the new enforcement protocols.”

On the other hand, Trump reacted: “Facebook’s ruling is an insult to the record-setting 75M people, plus many others, who voted for us in the 2020 Rigged Presidential Election. They shouldn’t be allowed to get away with this censoring and silencing, and ultimately, we will win. Our Country can’t take this abuse anymore!”

He added, “Next time I’m in the White House there will be no more dinners, at his request, with Mark Zuckerberg and his wife. It will be all business!”
