Truth About Assala, Tarek Al Eryan Divorce

Rumors and reports have been circulating that Syrian megastar, Assala Nasri and her husband, Palestinian-American film director, Tarek Al Eryan got porced.

She addressed the claims for the first time, saying: "This news is not correct".

This comes after a Lebanese magazine published two days ago news claiming that the pair had separated after Al Eryan cheated on the Syrian superstar with a young artist.

Nasri, born on May 15, 1969, is a Syrian singer and TV host.

She sang the theme song “Qessas al-Sho’oub (Stories of People”) of the cartoon show “Hekaayat ‘aalamiyah” (Global tales).

Nasri made her musical debut in 1993 with “Law te’rafou” (If you know). The album had four songs in the oriental operatic TARAB style composed by great Egyptian composers.

She quickly cemented her presence in a growing industry brimming with new, young talents like Najwa Karam, Saber Rebai, Angham, and Abdelmajeed Abdullah.

Nasri booked herself a place along with the Arab singing legends among great albums through two decades.

Among her most famous albums are “Eghdab” (Get angry), “Wala tessadda” (Do not believe), “Alby beyertahlak (My heart feels at home with you), “Ya mag-noun” (Oh madman), “Moshtaa’a” (I am missing you), ” Yameen Allah” (I swear), “Add al-horouf” (As much as letters), “Hayaaty” (My life), “Noss haala” (A half situation) and “Kanoun kaifek” (The law of your fancy).

She got married for the first time at an early age; she got porced in 2005 after more than 15 years of marriage. The marriage resulted in two children.

In 2006, she got married for the second time to a Palestinian-American director, Tarek Al Eryan.

Nasri gave birth to twin boys Adam and Aly, via IVF, in 2011.

She is currently living in Cairo with her husband and his son from a previous marriage, Omar, and her four children, Sham, Khaled, Adam, and Aly.

Nasri was granted Bahraini citizenship by Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa a few days after she gave a performance in the operetta "Love and Loyalty" in celebration of Bahrain’s Independence Day.
