In a written letter, Murphy explained that the federal government agencies will get ready for receiving Biden's team members.

Trump still rejects to accept the fact of Biden's victory, in addition, he refuses to cooperate with the Biden administration, however, he approved the transfer of power move.

Furthermore, he underscored his will to continue his legal cases as he tweeted, “Our case STRONGLY continues, we will keep up the good fight, and I believe we will prevail!”

In the same context, Murphy asserted that she made her decision without any pressure despite Biden's team threats and harassment.

“I was never directly or indirectly pressured by any Executive Branch official—including those who work at the White House or GSA—with regard to the substance or timing of my decision,” she wrote.

“I did, however, receive threats online, by phone, and by mail directed at my safety, my family, my staff, and even my pets in an effort to coerce me into making this determination prematurely,” she described.

Regarding Biden's team members' reaction, they welcomed the announced move in an official statement.

“Today’s decision is a needed step to begin tackling the challenges facing our nation,” the statement revealed.

“In the days ahead, transition officials will begin meeting with federal officials to discuss the pandemic response, have a full accounting of our national security, and gain complete understanding of the Trump administration efforts to hollow out government agencies,” the statement added.
