Trump stated that during the call, Petro explained the current situation regarding drug trafficking and addressed other points of contention between the two nations.
The U.S. President expressed his appreciation for the call and the tone used by Petro, announcing an upcoming meeting between them.
Trump noted that arrangements for this meeting are currently being coordinated between U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and his Colombian counterpart.
Trump further confirmed that the meeting will take place at the White House in Washington, D.C.
