Former US President Donald Trump has revealed that he is considering starting his own company on social media, saying he doesn't care if he is allowed to return to Twitter as it has become 'very boring'.

Trump announced in a statement to Newsmax that he will not be returning to Twitter, and that he is considering launching his own social media platform.

Twitter announced that it had permanently banned Trump's account due to 'the risk of being used to incite more violence'.

Trump's Facebook, Snap, and YouTube accounts were also suspended after his supporters stormed the Capitol on January 6.

Twitter CFO Ned Segal said that Trump will not be allowed to return to Twitter even if he runs again for the presidency and wins.
