Trump to Attend 1st Rally in Florida Since COVID-19 Diagnosis

President Donald Trump is planning to resume his election campaign activities on Monday, with an evening rally in  Florida, according to his campaign.

Trump announced on Twitter that the event at Sanford Orlando International airport would be a " BIG RALLY!."

Officials have declined to specify whether they would move forward with events regardless of if the president has tested negative.

The president, who lags behind Democratic candidate Joe Biden by a large margin in opinion polls, has sought to return to the election campaign in person after announcing his infection with   Coronavirus last Friday.

He is expected to speak to hundreds of people on the South Lawn of the White House on Saturday afternoon at the White House.
