Former US President Donald Trump has once again refused to debate Vice President Kamala Harris, despite his rising popularity in the polls.

Trump took to his social media platform, Truth Social, where he announced that he had initially accepted an invitation from Fox News to debate Harris on September 4th, but Harris declined.

In his post, Trump criticized Harris for publicly stating that she has no intention of changing any policies established by the current administration under President Joe Biden.

Trump used this as evidence that Harris and her campaign have "no new ideas" to offer, emphasizing that further debates with her would be "pointless."

The first debate between Trump and Harris took place on September 10th on ABC, after which Trump declared himself the winner.

However, public opinion polls conducted after the event largely indicated that viewers believed Harris performed better.

Despite this, Trump accused several media outlets and political observers of bias, claiming they favored the Democratic candidate during the debate.
