US President Donald Trump announced, early Saturday, that he is 'Medication free' and back to normal, a week after he had been hospitalized with Coronavirus.
Speaking to Fox News in a remote interview from the white house, Trump said he was “medication-free” as of Friday and feeling "really, really strong."
Moreover, the US president added that on the day he went to Walter Reed Military Medical Center, he 'didn’t feel really strong'. He also said that he knew “there was something a little bit off.”
“I would say [the symptoms] were more weakness than anything else,” Trump continued.
The American president also revealed that he would donate plasma to help other patients if asked.
Asked whether he had a sense of how he contracted the virus, Trump said, “I don’t know. They had some big events at the White House and perhaps there.”
“Nobody really knows for sure. Numerous people have contracted it, but, you know, people have contracted it all over the world,” he said. “It’s highly contagious. That’s one thing you learn. This is a contagious disease.”
It is worth mentioning that, on Thursday, the Commission on Presidential Debates announced that the coming debate between US President Donald Trump and Democratic nominee Joseph R. Biden Jr. is set to be held virtually rather than a face-to-face one due to health concerns over coronavirus.
Minutes later, Trump announced that he will not participate in the virtual debate, scheduled to be held on October 15th, with Biden, saying, “No I’m not going to waste my time.”
The commission added that the coming presidential debate will take the form of a town meeting, in which the candidates would participate from separate remote locations in order to protect the health and safety of all participants.
