U.S. President Donald Trump stated on Sunday that Iran is negotiating seriously with the United States, expressing his hope that Tehran would agree to a "something acceptable."
Trump had previously noted that Iran is engaged in talks with the U.S., suggesting that the coming days will reveal whether an understanding can be reached between the two sides.
In an interview with Fox News, Trump clarified: "Iran is talking to us, and we’ll see if we can do something; otherwise, we’ll see what happens," hinting at potential escalation if diplomatic efforts fail.
Criticizing past approaches, U.S. President added, "The last time we were negotiating with them, we had to destroy their nuclear facilities, and it didn’t work."
