US President Donald Trump said that he is not considering running in the next presidential election.
Trump confirmed on Wednesday that the Constitution prevents him from running for a third presidential term after his current term ends in January 2029, effectively ending any possibility of another term. The 22nd Amendment to the U.S. Constitution prohibits anyone from serving a third term as president. Despite this, Trump has publicly raised the idea of running again since winning a second term in November.
Trump acknowledged that he is "not allowed" to run for a third presidential term, describing it as "unfortunate".
