The office of former US President Donald Trump has announced the names of the lawyers who will be defending him in his impeachment trial next week.
David Schoen and Bruce L. Castor, Jr. will now head the legal team for Trump’s second impeachment trial on February 8.
Noteworthy, Trump’s five impeachment defense lawyers left less than two weeks before his trial, amid disagreements over his legal strategy, CNN reported on Sunday.
Butch Bowers and Deborah Barbier, who were expected to be two of the lead attorneys, are no longer on the team.
