President-elect Joe Biden cemented his election victory by winning the state of Georgia, while President Donald Trump hinted for the first time that Biden might be the country's next president.

The total number of votes in the electoral college for Biden so far has reached 306, while Trump received 232 votes ... These numbers give Biden a resounding victory over Trump.

Trump hinted for the first time that he might leave the White House, where he said that he would not decide to impose a general lockdown in the country, due to the Coronavirus, and that "time will reveal" who will be the next president.

He said: "I will not, this administration will not go into general lockdown ... We hope ... whatever happens in the future - who knows which administration will be in power."

Since the day of the vote in the US presidential election, Trump has made accusations without evidence of widespread fraud, but while he continues to direct such allegations on Twitter, he did not repeat them in his public statements yesterday.

The US states has until December 8th to ratify the elections and select the electoral college members who will formally choose the new president on December 14th.

"Fox News" quoted sources close to Trump as saying that Trump "will abide by the US constitution and hand over power after all votes are counted."

It quoted Trump saying that he was "realistic ... and he will do the right thing."

Earlier, his aides said that as the outcome became clearer, Trump discussed with his advisers potential media events and ensuring his appearance on the scene, keeping him in the spotlight before a possible attempt to return to the White House in 2024.

Several of his advisers said he was considering launching a television channel or company of social communication to confront those he sees as betraying him and hampering his ability to communicate directly with the American people.

Meanwhile, activists called supporters of President Trump to demonstrate in the streets to support him in his legal effort to prove election fraud.

Pro-Trump demonstrations in Washington and other cities will be attended by a mixture of his supporters, right-wing figures and members of his support groups, while left-wing groups intend to organize counter-demonstrations in Washington and other cities.
