American President Donald Trump has ruled out Pakistan as a potential venue for upcoming negotiations with Iran, suggesting instead that the talks could shift to Europe.

In an interview with the New York Post, Trump noted that while diplomatic efforts with Tehran are "moving along," the pace remains slow. He explicitly dismissed earlier speculation regarding a Pakistani host site, signaling a recalibration of the diplomatic roadmap.

"I don't think it's going to be in Pakistan," Trump said, adding that Washington is now weighing European options. He further clarified that Turkey is not currently under consideration for the next round of talks.

The President also leveled sharp criticism at European allies over their handling of maritime security in the Persian Gulf. While acknowledging their desire to assist in reopening the Strait of Hormuz, Trump questioned their capability, labeling them "paper tigers" who "don't know how" to act.

The remarks underscore a widening rift between Washington and European capitals over the strategic coordination required to manage tensions with Iran.
