Former US President Donald Trump, who is seeking to win the US presidential election in a few months, has denied reports that he was "very rude" to the late Queen Elizabeth II, insisting that he was her "favorite boss".

According to the British newspaper Daily Mail, Trump responded to the allegations contained in an upcoming biography of the late Queen, which tells how Queen Elizabeth II particularly hated the way Trump looked over her shoulder as if he was looking for others who were more interesting.

Speaking to the newspaper, which publishes the "Journey Around the Queen" series by Craig Brown, Trump insisted that he spent hours with Queen Elizabeth II and that they found a special way to communicate with each other during their meetings.

Trump said: "She told my friends that President Trump is my favorite boss.
