Former US President Donald Trump criticized Israel and said that he would never forget that it did not participate in the assassination of top Iranian General Qassem Soleimani, and that it must strengthen its capabilities after failing to anticipate the Hamas attack.
In a statement during an election rally in West Palm Beach, Trump said: “When you talk about intelligence or you talk about some things that went wrong over the past week (referring to Operation Al-Aqsa Flood), they (Israeli intelligence) have to get it right because they are fighting a very large force. They are most likely fighting Iran."
"When they have people saying the wrong things, everything they say is absorbed by these people because they (Hezbollah) are evil and smart. Oh my God, how evil they are because no one has ever seen this kind of things that we saw. They have to strengthen themselves up," he added.
He pointed to the assassination of Iranian Commander Qassem Soleimani in 2020, repeating his claim that Netanyahu refused to provide assistance to the U.S. in the assassination.
He said: “I will never forget that B. Netanyahu let us down. It was a very terrible thing. We were very disappointed, but we did the job ourselves, with absolute precision; then Netanyahu tried to take the credit for it.”
