US President Donald Trump said that Iran no longer possesses the military capabilities it once had, describing the recent military campaign against Tehran as a significant success. He argued that the United States had finally taken actions that, in his view, should have been implemented decades ago.

Trump stated that the US military had severely weakened Iran's military capabilities, claiming that American forces destroyed key military assets and sank 59 vessels during the operation. He said Iran initially appeared willing to negotiate but later launched attacks on the ships, prompting Washington to respond with decisive military action.

Reaffirming the US position on Iran's nuclear program, Trump stressed that Tehran must never be allowed to acquire a nuclear weapon, calling it a non-negotiable red line because of what he described as the continuing threat posed by the Iranian government.

He added that the recent military actions were intended to prevent Iran from advancing both its military strength and its nuclear ambitions, arguing that such measures had been overdue for many years.

Addressing his own security, Trump said he believes Iran may attempt to assassinate him, claiming that he is Tehran's "number one target" amid heightened tensions following the US strikes.

Trump also asserted that the top two levels of Iran's leadership had been eliminated, claiming that the country's current leadership consists of what he described as the "third tier," which he portrayed as evidence of a weakened command structure.
