"During my visit yesterday to Austin, Texas, for the startup of the new Mac Pro and the discussion of a a new $ 1 billion campus, also in Texas. I asked Tim Cook to see if he could get Apple involved in building 5G in the United States," trump tweeted.
The US president continued: "Apple has everything, money, technology, vision and Tim Cook."
The comments come as US pressure on countries to prevent Huawei from offering 5G services in the future, with fears that Beijing will use the alleged Huawei spy devices, which the Chinese company denied.
