In a major diplomatic breakthrough, U.S. President Donald Trump announced via Truth Social that a comprehensive peace agreement regarding the Islamic Republic of Iran has been largely negotiated and is nearing its final drafting stages.

The announcement followed a historic, high-level joint telephone conference conducted directly from the Oval Office, uniting an unprecedented coalition of Middle Eastern and South Asian leaders.

A Historic Multilateral Coalition

President Trump revealed that the extensive negotiations included direct collaboration with the top leadership of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Pakistan, Turkiye, Egypt, Jordan, and Bahrain.

The leaders participating in the historic joint call included:

Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia)

President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan (United Arab Emirates)

Emir Tamim bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim bin Jabr Al Thani, and Minister Ali Al-Thawadi (State of Qatar)

Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir Ahmed Shah (Islamic Republic of Pakistan)

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan (Republic of Turkiye)

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi (Arab Republic of Egypt)

King Abdullah II (Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan)

King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa (Kingdom of Bahrain)

Netanyahu Consulted Separately on the Deal

In addition to the multilateral summit, President Trump confirmed he held a separate bilateral discussion with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin "Bibi" Netanyahu. Trump characterized the conversation with Netanyahu as having gone "very well," ensuring that Israel's strategic perspectives are integrated into the broader diplomatic framework.

Strait of Hormuz to Reopen Amid Peace Memorandum

According to the President, the upcoming agreement takes the form of a major memorandum of understanding (MoU) focused entirely on regional peace and security. While the final technicalities and specific details are currently being finalized for an upcoming public release, Trump highlighted one monumental breakthrough: the official reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.

The Strait of Hormuz is one of the world's most critical maritime energy choke points, and its guaranteed opening marks a massive victory for global oil markets, international trade, and maritime security.

"The final aspects and details of the agreement are currently being discussed and will be announced shortly," President Trump stated, concluding with appreciation for the global attention on this historic geopolitical shift.
