US President Donald Trump announced that the agreement with Iran is scheduled to be signed tomorrow, Sunday, in the latest sign of progress in the negotiating track between the two sides.

He emphasized that the deal Washington is seeking to conclude aims to prevent Iran from acquiring any nuclear weapons.

Trump stated that his agreement with Iran represents a "wall" that prevents the development or possession of nuclear weapons, expressing hope that the implementation procedures will proceed quickly and smoothly.

He added that the United States possesses the "perfect alternative" should the path of the agreement falter.

The US President indicated that immediately after the agreement is signed, the Strait of Hormuz will be opened to everyone—a move expected to restore maritime traffic to normal and ease tensions in one of the world's most vital sea lanes.

He also explained that dealing with what he described as "nuclear dust" would be addressed at a later stage once the situation calms down.

These statements come at a time when Iranian and Pakistani sources are speaking of the imminent completion of the memorandum of understanding.

Meanwhile, no official joint announcement has yet been issued by Washington and Tehran confirming the final date for the signing or revealing the details of the agreement.
