The Ministry of Transport appealed to citizens not to dump waste and rubbish on the railway track or in the railway precinct because of the fires, accidents, loss of life of citizens, damage to public property, disruption of trains, damage to the environment, public health of citizens and the appearance of civilization.

What the railway system has become after the comprehensive development and the great qualitative shift that the system witnessed in all its elements, which in turn was reflected in the level of services provided to the public of passengers.

This comes within the framework of the expanded campaign launched by the Ministry of Transport under the title “Your Safety Matters to Us” in order to educate passengers and citizens about negative behaviors when using the railway facility to preserve their lives and the public property of the state.

The ministry stated - in a press statement - that the railway is a public property of the people and that the responsibility for preserving it is a shared responsibility between the authority, which is implementing huge projects to improve the services provided and provide all facilities for passengers during their movements through the various lines of the authority and between citizens by preserving public property and avoiding negative behaviors. When dealing with a railway facility that causes severe damage to citizens and the property of the Railway Authority.
