In celebration of the World Tourism Day, Tourism Minister Dr. Rania Al-Mashat launched the first Egypt-Tourism Reform Program Progress Report to spotlight on what had been achieved in the tourism sector after 10 months of launching E-TRP.
On the sidelines of the Global Influencers & Content Creators Summit on Thursday, Al-Mashat said that the report proved the Tourism Ministry's commitment to E-TRP's five pillars to achieving sustainable tourism by implementing structural reforms aiming at increasing the Egyptian tourism sector's competitiveness in line with global trends.

"E-TRP had received great support from the Egyptian political leadership and government and was praised by several international institutions," Al-Mashat noted.
The minister cited that during her last participation in the World Economic Forum's meetings, countries wanted to get acquainted with what happened in the Egyptian tourism sector in the last 20 months.

She stressed that the ministry succeeded in achieving most of the E-TRP goals in less than 10 months. Such success came as an outcome of the cooperation between the government and the private sector.
She also thanked for the private sector topped by the Egyptian Tourism Federation and all the ministry's staff for their tremendous efforts over the past period.
The report shows the Egyptian tourism successes globally and how it restored its power, according to international institutions and reports.
