The Tourism Ministry held on Thursday the Global Influencers & Content Creators Summit, inviting nearly 17 influencers and bloggers from various countries worldwide in conjunction with the World Tourism Day.
They were from the United States, Spain, Italy, Canada, South Korea, Sweden, and the UAE.
Among the bloggers and influencers were Federica Xotti, Ebba Zingmark, Alessandro Marras, Oliver Vegas, Ahmed Adly, Emmett Sparling, and Ahmed Wahba.

The summit aimed at showcasing the bloggers and influencers' photos and videos about the tourist destinations in Egypt, during their one-week stay here.

In this score, Tourism Minister Dr. Rania Al-Mashat pointed to the importance of such global bloggers and influencers who create new and nontraditional content to the Egyptian hotspots, saying: "Promotion such places isn't the responsibility of the official bodies only, but also the Egyptian youth."

Al-Mashat stressed the importance of hosting them to post more creative contents about Egypt on their social media platforms which are followed by thousands to transfer their tourist experience.

"By this step, the Tourism Ministry achieved what the promotion and marketing pillar of the Egypt-Tourism Reform Program (E-TRP) includes which is based on modernizing mechanisms of promotion and use of modern technologies and social media platforms to keep pace with the rapid and successive changes globally in the tourism industry," the minister noted.

She also affirmed the importance of cooperation between the local and global content creators to create more distinguished contents, saying: "The ministry will use the picture and contents made by these influencers on its social media platforms and at the local international travel expos."

During the event, the bloggers showed their photos and videos and talked about their experience in Egypt and the warm hospitality they received. All of them expressed their great admiration for Egyptian tourist destinations.
