Tourism and Antiquities Minister Khaled El Anany and Sports and Youth Minister Ashraf Sobhy witnessed on Wednesday a skyping show at the Pyramids Plateau.
The event is co-organized by Tazkarti and Skype Egypt in cooperation with the Ministries of Tourism, Antiquities, Sports, and Civil Aviation.
"Skyping professionals coming from Egypt, the US, Spain, Italy, and Slovenia, took part in the event as a part of promoting Egypt's tourist destinations and archaeological sites," the ministry said in a statement.

In this regard, Anany said the ministry is keen to support and promote all types of tourism, especially sports tourism which attracts different categories of tourists.
"Egypt's hosting of such events aims to increase the tourism flow to the country," Anany pointed out.

He added that the ministry cooperates with the Sports Ministry to benefit from these events in promoting Egypt.
Meanwhile, Sobhy pointed to Egypt's capability of hosting large sports events, affirming the importance of skyping event in showcasing the country's attractions.
