Egypt’s Minister of Tourism and Antiquities met on Tuesday with a delegation from the UAE National Defense College (NDC), headed by General Ahmed Mohamed Al-Marar, during their current visit to Egypt.
The meeting was held in the presence of Amr El-Kady, CEO of the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Promotion, Ihab Salem, and Asssistant to Minister of Tourism and Antiquities for Economic Affairs Ms. Youmna Al-Bahar.
The meeting, which took place in the New Administrative Capital (NAC), discussed means to bolster the growth of inbound tourism and enhance the various aspects of cooperation between the two countries in many fields, according to a statement recently issued by the Ministry of Tourism.
During the meeting, Issa highlighted the most prominent policies and action plans undertaken by the Ministry to promote the tourism industry and achieve the Egyptian state’s goals to reach 30 million tourists per year by 2028, especially in light of its unique tourism and archaeological potential.
The Egyptian minister also briefed the delegation about the relocation of the Ministry of Tourism headquarters and a number of its affiliated bodies to NAC since last June, the statement read.
