Tourism Min. Chairs Committee Meeting on Developing Egypt's Tourism Products, Patterns

Sherif Fathy, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, chaired the meeting of the committee responsible for developing tourism products and patterns in Egypt.

The meeting aimed to discuss updates on the action plan and mechanisms for developing each tourism product or pattern individually, in line with the ministry's current strategic vision.

This vision focuses on positioning Egypt as the world's top destination for diverse tourism experiences.

The meeting featured discussions on the development plans for these tourism products and patterns, which had been identified in previous meetings.

The ministry aims to focus on their enhancement and boost demand in the coming period, given Egypt’s unparalleled tourism potential on a global scale.

During the meeting, the minister listened to reports from various ministry task forces, each specializing in the development of a specific tourism product or pattern.

The teams presented the competitive advantages and unique characteristics of each product, along with proposals for promoting and marketing them effectively.

The necessary steps and measures for implementation were also discussed.

The meeting featured appearances by Deputy Minister Yomna El-Bahhar, Assistant Minister for Strategic Administration Affairs Engineer Ahmed Youssef, Assistant Minister for the Minister’s Office Affairs Engineer Mostafa Alaa El-Din, Head of the Central Administration for Tourism Companies Ms. Samia Sami, Head of the Central Administration for Hotel Establishments and Tourist Activities Mr. Mohamed Amer, Minister’s Advisor for Training Dr. Soha Bahgat, Assistant Minister for Human Resource Development Dr. Ahmed Rahima, Assistant Minister for Digital Services Dr. Mohamed Shaban, Assistant Minister for External Affairs Ms. Reham Samir, and Assistant Minister for Aviation and Follow-up Affairs Mr. Ahmed Nabil.
