French second pision winners FC Toulouse are reportedly interested in signing Galatasaray striker Mostafa Mohamed.

Mostafa had a spectacular debut season with Galatasaray after having joined them from Zamalek last season, during which he scored nine goals in 17 appearances.

Many of the Lions’ fans, pinned their hopes on the Egyptian going into the new season, especially after the departure of Henry Onyekuru and Radamel Falcao.

However, the 22-time Turkish champions have had one of their worst-ever seasons in their history, finishing the Turkish Super Lig in 13th place.

Mostafa Mohamed is no different from the situation there, having scored just eight goals in 40 games while starting just 16 times all season.

But still, Mohamed managed to attract many clubs’ eyes from all around the globe, including French outfits FC Girondins de Bordeaux, Olympique Lyonnais, and Serie A outfit Atalanta.

The latest to join the list of potential suitors was French Second-Divison League (Ligue 2) winners FC Toulouse, with Turkish news outlet SPOR ARENA stating that Mohamed is a target of the club.
