This crazy creative but bizarre wedding photo session is going viral on the Internet in Egypt.
The photo session was taken in a magical place on a beach, featuring a young man called, Mahmoud El Hakim, who stood in a black tuxedo and silver tie, holding a bouquet of flowers and smiling in front of tall-scaled figure in a wedding dress.
There is nothing bizarre about the above — but what was weird is that El Hakim appeared holding the hand of a mannequin standing in front of him, intend of his bride's hand, in the photo session.
The rigidity of plastic and the weirdness of the scene did not prevent El Hakim, 28, from perfecting his role. He appeared in several pictures, posing in romantic positions as if he was really doing a real wedding session.
The photos featured El Hakim kneeling on one knee in front of the mannequin holding a bouquet of flowers in one while cuddling with the mannequin him in another.
The photo session sparked great controversy on social media, especially with the strange stories that were circulating about it.
‘Behind The Scenes’
El Hakim recounts the behind the scenes of the photo session, which goes back to last October.
He revealed that he did a funny photo session which he titled the "Diaries of a Wet Citizen" when rain was flooding the streets because he sees the bright side in everything.
El Hakim’s session was aimed to remind people that the rain was something good and great as well as make them laugh and think positively.
Indeed, the photo session went viral on the internet and achieved its goal, however, what he did not expect was for it to take a dark turn in his life.
He revealed in a press statement that he was shocked when his fiancée left him, suddenly, and that he found himself single 4 months before his wedding date which was due on Valentine's Day.
“My fiancée left me, and asked me the reason I didn't tell her about the photos," he explained.
He decided to deal with the issue in a positive way, and gets a photo session with the mannequin on Valentine's Day.
"I dealt with the issue in a comedy way and send the people a message on how we can positively deal with everything. I laughed, people laughed, and I got rid of the pain because of my fiancée left".
