Total Economic Collapse and the Suffocation of the Velayat-e Faqih Regime Under the Weight of War and Blockade

Mousa Afshar, a member of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), stated that the catastrophic figures revealed in government reports regarding losses in the internet sector and the collapse of livelihoods serve as the economic death certificate for the Mullahs' regime. The regime is currently gasping its last breaths following the death of the tyrant Khamenei and the subsequent disintegration of his power structures.

Afshar said: "The loss of $5.2 billion in just 66 days due to internet shutdowns proves that this decaying regime has nothing left but the destruction of infrastructure and digital growth in a desperate attempt to isolate the people from the world. This deliberate paralysis, coinciding with an annual inflation rate that reached a terrifying 73% last April, reflects the bitter reality of a country drowning in a deep-rooted structural crisis where the middle class has vanished and Iranian tables have been emptied under the weight of institutionalized looting."

He added: "The collapse of the 'self-sufficiency' illusion is clearly manifested in the total agricultural breakdown and the regime's inability to pay farmers, placing the food security of Iranians in imminent danger. With the closure of the Strait of Hormuz and a 40% decline in imports resulting from the ongoing war and strategic blockade, reality proves that the war machine built by the Mullahs at the expense of the people's sustenance has backfired. The external war has turned the country's economy into rubble while systematically dismantling the regime's military apparatus, effectively ending the era of Velayat-e Faqih."

Afshar continued: "In these critical circumstances, instead of responding to the people's demands, the remnants of the regime persist in their policy of bloody repression. Most recently, they sent 8 members of the People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) to the gallows, including the dedicated activists Vahid Bani Amerian and Abolhassan Montazer, in a futile bid to instill fear in society. This pure blood, shed in the darkness of prisons, confirms that the only enemy of this regime is the Iranian people and their organized resistance—crimes that will not go unpunished under the justice soon to be established."

He explained: "Resistance Units deployed across the entire country continue their strategic missions of intelligence gathering and striking centers of repression, preparing for the decisive moment. We in the NCRI, based on Mrs. Maryam Rajavi's 10-point plan, affirm that the formation of the Provisional Government is the only path to transfer sovereignty to the people and ensure a smooth transition toward a democratic and peaceful republic, ending decades of dictatorship, poverty, and futile wars."

Afshar emphasized: "The external war imposed on the regime due to its regional adventures has exposed the fragility of its core. However, we reiterate that fundamental change is a purely Iranian matter, to be forged by the hands of our people and not by foreign armies. The 'Mullah' economy, built on permanent currency the total devaluation of the national currency, is no longer repairable. The radical solution begins with uprooting the head of the snake in Tehran."

Afshar concluded: "The era of the Velayat-e Faqih ended with the death of Khamenei. The collapse we witness today in agriculture, oil, and services is the inevitable result of a regime that prioritized its missile arsenal over the people's bread. Dawn is approaching, and a free Iran will rise from these ruins to build a future worthy of its great people."
