Top August Sky Events

Several attractive sky events will take place in August; it will be a precious chance for people who would like to escape from the noise.

The first sky event of the month will occur this Sunday, August 8, that marks the birth of the new moon. Next on Tuesday, August 10, there will be breathtaking conjunction between the moon and Mars.

The previous phenomenon will be followed by another conjunction between the moon and Venus on Wednesday, August 11.

On Thursday, Friday, August 12,13, will mark the climax of the Perseids meteor shower, and it will be followed by the third conjunction of the month between Mercury, and Mars on Thursday, August 19.

On Friday, August 20, Jupiter will be in front of the sun, and it will be followed by a conjunction between the moon and Saturn on the following day, Saturday, August 21.

August's full moon will come on Sunday, August 22. And, the final sky event for the month will take place on Monday, August 30, when the moon will stand at the furthest spot away from the Earth.
