There are so many opportunities for memories to be made… from visiting Egypt's museum to bike riding in Azhar Park to letting your inner foodie enjoy bites in Cairo Tower restaurant… you are bound to find something for everyone in the family to enjoy.

Egypt's Museum

Ancient Egypt is riddled with many uncovered secrets and mysteries. Lucky for visitors, many of them are on display at this impressive, red-columned museum in Tahrir Square.

Actually, Egypt's museum in Cairo is home to the largest collection of Egyptian artifacts in Egypt. Here, you’ll discover a number of iconic mummies in the flesh and learn why Egyptians were the first to domesticate cats. One of the oldest artifacts is a 1.5 million-year-old stone hand ax alongside hundreds of other fascinating pieces are.

It's worth noting that the iconic museum is typically open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Cairo Tower

Egypt’s second landmark building and major tourist attraction after the Pyramids of Giza is actually Cairo Tower also known as Burj al-Qāhirah in Arabic, which at 187 m (614 ft) is the tallest building in Egypt and North Africa and also the most famous of the city’s points of interest.

This national momentum was designed by the Egyptian architect Naoum Shebib, inspired by Pharaoh's Architecture. Its partially open lattice-work design is intended to evoke a pharaonic lotus plant, an iconic symbol of Ancient Egypt.

For most visitors, a trip to the observation deck on the 62nd floor here is a must-do while in the city. The stunning views across the city skyline from this bird’s-eye perspective are simply staggering.

Nighttime visits are particularly popular with photographers due to Cairo’s famous city-lights panoramas.

Azhar Park

Spanning 80 acres, the stunning gardens features more than one hundred varieties of plants. Azhar Park is not only one of the stunning and beautiful gardens in Cairo, but it is also one of the most tourist-friendly game parks on the African continent.

The design of the park is inspired by historic Islamic gardens, the spine is a formal axis with a water channel leading in the direction of a small lake, with accompanying alleyways, and pointing towards the Saladin Citadel.

The park's entertainment places are pided into distinct areas, including the citadel restaurant, the Ayyubid Wall, and Darb-Al-Ahmar.

Ultimately, Azhar Park is cited as an outdoor enthusiast's paradise with dramatic peaks and pristine lakes.
