Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Acting Minister of Health and Population, will hold a press conference this evening, Tuesday, to announce the start of clinical studies for the Egyptian anti-Corona vaccine which is named “Egyfax”, in one of the major hotels in Cairo.
The event will be attended by Dr. Al-Sayyed Al-Qusair, Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, and Dr. Tamer Essam President of the Egyptian Medicines Authority, Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, Secretary-General of University Hospitals, and representatives of a number of concerned authorities.
During the conference, the Minister of Higher Education is scheduled to announce the journey to reach the vaccine, start clinical trials, prepare volunteers, and complete details about the vaccine.
