Today marks the anniversary of the historical day in 1945 when the United Nations Charter entered into force.

On this date every year, the UN celebrates its anniversary by thanking all stakeholders, partners as well as the international community for supporting and applying the ethical principles of the UN Charter that have guided the entire world for the past 76 years.

A variety of arts festivals take place across the world and provide opportunities to celebrate these ethical and humanitarian principles.

The main celebrations take part in the General Assembly Hall of the Organization, at Headquarters in New York, a concert is held to mark UN Day.

Moreover, Expo in Dubai will celebrate United Nations Day as an Honor Day with a variety of official regional events that represents a call to strengthen international cooperation in the interest of both nations and peoples, for a more peaceful and prosperous future for all.

Meanwhile, many people from all over the world can virtually join the Honor Day ceremony, which will be live-streamed across the UN YouTube channel and UN Web TV.

In addition to this, these global festivals will commemorate the global efforts and impact of the United Nations' work to serve people and the two spheres for 76 years.
