The Red Cross has taken custody of three Israeli hostages released by Palestinian factions in central Gaza. The individuals handed over by the Shadow Unit were identified as Eliyahu Datson, Yosef Sharabi, Or Avraham Lisha Levy, and Ohad Ben Ami.
The handover took place on a platform set up by Al-Qassam Brigades in Deir al-Balah, where a banner in the background read, "We Are the Flood… We Are the Day After." The exchange comes as part of the Gaza Agreement, which includes an Israeli commitment to withdraw from the Netzarim Corridor on Sunday.
In response, the Israeli Prison Service is preparing to release 183 Palestinian prisoners from Ketziot Prison. Among them, 72 prisoners are serving life or long-term sentences. A total of 42 prisoners will return to the West Bank, while 7 will be deported, and the rest will be sent to Gaza.
This latest exchange marks another step in the ongoing negotiations and shifting dynamics of the conflict, as both sides move forward with agreed terms.
