On Sunday, Canadian authorities issued evacuation orders for thousands of citizens in British Columbia due to the widespread of forest fires over the past days.
The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) reported that the authorities urged citizens living in the north of the province to go south after the fires had burned approximately 17 kilometers since they broke out on Friday.
The evacuation order is the largest since the beginning of the fire season in the state, and the number of people displaced by the fires has so far reached 4,300 people.
Last year, Canada witnessed a record number of forest fires that forced tens of thousands to flee across British Columbia.
