This year, spring coincides with the holy month of Ramadan, which inspired many designers to present distinctive and modest designs.

UAE-based Egyptian designer Maha Abdul Rasheed followed that approach and presented a distinguished spring 2022 Ramadan collection.

The collection was created with great details made from soft materials, elegant cuts, and splendid colors.

*Loose and elegant

The designer has adopted the fashion trends that depend on the oversize direction to present dresses that hide the shape of the body, resulting in an elegant and stylish look suitable for Ramadan and holidays.

The designs featured straight-lined clothing that hide the shape of the body and have few ruffles.

Also, the cape was presented in the same length and color as the dress and came to complement the modest elegance.

Soft materials such as cotton and linen played a major role in the elegance of the design.

*Tie and DIY

Tie and DIY, the art of manual printing, is a fine art that inspires joy and happiness, whether for the person who prints it or the wearer.

Abdul Rasheed presented the art in a mother and child set. She also created cheerful and attractive designs made from soft natural cotton.

* Special colors

The designer chose pastel colors and calm shades of violet, salmon, light blue, and yellow, as well as strong shades of green and royal blue.

Abdul Rasheed relied on the plain shades of off-white. She chose calming colors due to their distinctive and in line with different skin tones. The designer also presented a beautiful fuchsia floral caftan.
