Theaters Fire for ‘Shaft’ Movie on June 14

Shaft 2019, an upcoming action movie, is set to electrify theaters on June 14.

The American movie, starring Samuel L. Jackson, Alexandra Shipp, and Avan Jogia, is directed by Tim Story, written by Kenya Barris, and Alex Barnow, and produced by John Davis.

The cast also includes Regina Hal, Luna Lauren Velez, Richard Roundtree, Jessie T. Usher, Matt Lauria, Method Man, Sylvia Jefferies, Jessica Medina, Robbie Jones, Athena Akers, Isaach De Bankolé, and Jalyn Hall.

The movie is a sequel to the 2000 "Shaft" movie starring Samuel L. Jackson, who is also returning to the upcoming movie. The 2000 Shaft film was produced by Scott Rudin and directed by John Singleton.
