A new achievement is illuminating the life of the Egyptians’ way. President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi is opening the second part of the fourth phase of the Metro third line, adding 6 new metro stations.

The new line is not just an achievement that facilitates life for Egyptians and provides a civilized service which 350 thousand new passengers ride, but it is a qualitative development in a field in which Egyptians have excelled until they became professors!

I was lucky to have the opportunity to see the plans and the artistic crafts on paintings in bright colors. within a year, the paintings have turned into a creative reality by real characters and heroes and on real sites with the effort of Egyptian engineers, workers and technicians.

The Metro third line became a reality despite the outbreak of Coronavirus that that disrupted projects in many countries of the world. However, these young Egyptians remained committed to the precautionary measures and continued their work to be ready before the deadline.

The activities of Engineer Kamel al-Wazir, Minister of Transport and the dynamo of distinctive national projects extend everywhere since he was head of the Engineering Authority of the Armed Forces until he became the Ministry of Transport.

Al-Wazir said while following the start of the new railway tractors and carriages: “We are here to serve the Egyptian citizen and congratulate the Egyptian people on the development.”

With this spirit and this determination, the new extension of the third line has been accomplished, similar to the metro flying in the sky, as the passenger will take a tour, watching Egypt from above through a history formed by the names of the stations starting from Al Nozha station, crossing through Heikstep, Quba, Omar bin Al-Khattab and Hisham Barakat, to Adli Mansour station, all stations are on Suspension bridge.

The opening of these stations is a major achievement for the state, and an evidence of the performance and accuracy of implementation by Egyptian companies, with the recommendations of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi regarding the localization of the transport industry in Egypt.

This project truly represents a major turning point in the field of construction, as described by Engineer Mohsen Salah, head of the Arab Contractors Company, on the occasion of the completion of the fourth phase of the works. This project represents an Egyptian alliance consisting of the Arab Contractors and Orascom Construction, to carry out a huge project - for the first time - in the railway field, which was previously carried out by the foreign companies.

These Egyptian companies implemented this project thanks to President Abd El Fattah El Sisi who gave them support and confidence to carry out all Egyptian projects, hence, they created strong Egyptian alliances to implement mega projects.

Happy facts and dreams that became true through the new Adli Mansour station that will be a giant transportation complex with integrated services and an investment commercial area on an area of 15 acres. The service would be exchanged between five different means of transport, the metro station of the third line, the electric train station “Adli Mansour - the administrative capital - the tenth of Ramadan”, the railway station “Cairo / Suez”, a super jet station, and finally a station for the connection with Cairo International Airport.

It is our right to be proud not only of implementing six new stations to serve millions of Egyptians whose lives have been linked to the metro, but by adding a new international certificate to the Egyptian School of Construction with its qualified human cadres who have a great level of experience in implementing projects in all fields.

All thanks and appreciation from an Egyptian citizen to those who accomplished achievements  in all fields, turned the night into work and opened the doors of hope for us.
