The belt is a distinctive piece of elegance. Not only does it add to the elegance of the outfit but also reshapes the body.
The piece is an important item that hides body flaws, adds grace to the waist, and creates a balance between the upper and lower parts of the body.
Despite its importance, not many designers have specialized in leather.
designer Rana Magdy
However, the young designer Rana Magdy entered that area with passion, love, and true talent that made her navigate the world of leather and design to create belt distinctively exquisite pieces.
Magdy, a graduate of French literature, relies on belts in her daily life to add to her appearance.
She began her career through a mere chance when she received a belt as a gift from France.

Magdy decided to make her first belt when it got old and did not find a replacement for it. She watched leather design videos and made her own belt.
The designer watched various leather industry trainers learn everything related to leather, its tanning, dyeing, what distinguishes each type, and how to choose the appropriate leather for each design.

Magdy offers special designs for each client (Customize) for each body has different bodies and measurements.
As much as this is tiring, it pleases the designer when she sees the final product coming out with distinction and beauty.
grandfather Fahmy Attia
The greatest secret in Magdy’s professional life and the reason behind the name for her brand (warshet.Geddo) "Grandfather's Workshop", is that she is her grandfather, from the mother's side, of a great man who started his life at a young age in the leather workshops of the beautiful popular neighborhood, Bab El Sharia.
Her grandfather, Fahmy Attia, had owned the Stars stores in Soliman Pasha Street in downtown and Nasr City, presenting the most luxurious leather shoes made by Egyptian hands.

Attia worked extremely hard until he had a three-story factory and exported his products to Italy and France. The iconic Reda Troupe even wore boots from his designs during their performances abroad.
As for the grandchildren, they used to go to the factory on special occasions and say, “We are going to the workshop of my grandfather.”

To date, when Magdy goes to the leather market to buy leather and says that she is the granddaughter of Fahmy Attia, the sheiks of the area remember him and see him in her.
While the young designer has yet to begin exporting, she will certainly reach this stage soon as she holds all these secrets of artistic heritage, talent, and determination for excellence.
