The Palestinian Red Crescent announced today, Saturday, the entry of the first batch of aid trucks into the Gaza Strip through the Rafah land crossing point, since the collapse of the truce on Friday morning.
Al-Ghad news channel website quoted the Palestinian Red Crescent as saying that 50 aid trucks entered the Gaza Strip, including two fuel trucks.
For its part, the government media office in the Gaza Strip confirmed that the Rafah border crossing was operating normally, denying reports that the crossing was closed.
In a related context, official Palestinian sources announced today, Saturday, that the death toll as a result of the Israeli bombing of the Gaza Strip had risen to 200 people. This has been since the end of the truce, yesterday morning, Friday.
At the field level, the Palestinian Ministry of Interior said, “The occupation aircraft renewed their raids on the town of Al-Qarara, north of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip.”
