The Palestinian President congratulates President Sisi on his election victory

The President of the State of Palestine, Mahmoud Abbas, congratulated the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, on the occasion of his success in the presidential elections for a new term.

Abu Mazen said in the congratulatory telegram: “It pleases us to extend to Your Excellency our warmest fraternal congratulations, on the occasion of your success in the presidential elections, and your gaining the confidence of the brotherly Egyptian people, by being elected President of the Arab Republic of Egypt for a new term, which represents the continuation of your constructive path, and the continuation of achieving more important achievements. In order to preserve Egypt’s gains and its pioneering role at the Arab, regional and international levels, and its preoccupation with the nation’s issues, foremost among which is your steadfast standing by our people and their just cause for freedom, independence and statehood, especially in these difficult times.
