Culture Min. to Deliver Prizes of Ratiba El -Hefny Contest

On 10 November, at 8 pm Tuesday at the Fountain Theater in the Opera House, Dr. Enas Abdel-Dayem, Minister of Culture, will deliver the prizes of “Dr. Ratiba El-Hefny Music and Singing Competition” - in the closing ceremonies of the 29th edition of the Arab Music Festival And Conference.

The ceremonies will be attended by Dr. Magdy Saber, head of the Opera House, the artist Jihan Morsi, Director of the Festival.

It is worthy of note that the closing ceremony, held at the Fountain Theater, will include presenting a concert for The Tunisian megastar Saber Rubai - the orchestra led by Maestro Hany Farhat.

The competition is pided into the following sections:

- New Song Contest.

- Cello Competition.

- Arabic Singing Contest for Youth.

- Arab Singing Contest for People with Special Needs-

Youth .

- Arabic Singing Contest for Children.

- Arabic Singing Competition for Children with Special Needs.

Each contest will have three winners, except the prize of “the new song”

The results are:-

- The prize of the "New Song" competition- valued 100,000 EGP, were given equally to the artists "Noha Hafez”- for her song "One Land", composed by Ahmed Lotfi and distributed by Yahya Al-Mogi, and the artist Ayat Farouk for her song "Kalimni", composed by Khaled Abdel Ghaffar and distributed by Ihab Abdel Salam.

As for Cello competition, the results came as the following:

- The first prize, valued 30,000 Egyptian pounds, was given to Abdullah Samir Sayed Ibrahim, the second prize, valued 250,000 Egyptian pounds, was given to Nour Mohamed Abdel Shafi. The third prize, valued 20,000 Egyptian pounds, was awarded equally to "Islam Al-Sayed Khamis," and "Ihab Samir Shawky."

As for the prize of the Arab Singing Competition for Young People,

- The first prize was dedicated to "Ahmed Abdel Karim Abdel Gawad" -valued 30,000 Egyptian pounds.

- The second prize was dedicated to "Mazen Helmy El-Sayed" - valued 250,000 Egyptian pounds.

- The committee recommended dedicating certificates of appreciation to both Toka Muhammad Abdul Rahman and Karim Alaa El Din Lotfi.

• As for the Arabic singing competition for children:

- The first prize was dedicated to “Basmalah Kamal Bayoumi,” – valued 20,000 Egyptian pounds.

- The second prize was dedicated to both Youssef Peter and Logine Tamer- from the Children's Talents Development Center at the Opera House- valued 15,000 Egyptian pounds.

- The third prize was dedicated to both Iyad Muhammad Ahmed Qaddoura and Youssef Mohamed Mostafa Al-Rawi- valued 10,000 pounds.

As for the singing competition for young people and children with special needs, the awards came as following:

- The youth prizes are:

- The first prize - valued 30,000 Egyptian pounds – was dedicated to both Nancy Atef Shehata- from Al-Hefny Center, and Heba Adel Ibrahim Youssef.

- The second prize – valued 25,000 Egyptian pounds - was dedicated to Rania Mahmoud Abdel Hamid.

- The third prize -valued 20,000 Egyptian pounds, was awarded to "Muhammad Mustafa Ali Al-Zahri" - from Al-Hefni Center.

- The committee recommended dedicating certificates of appreciation to Reem Hani, Loujain Khaled and Farah Muhammad.

• As for the singing competition for children with special needs, the prizes came as the following:

- The first prize -valued 20,000 Egyptian pounds, was dedicated to Hiba Rabie Al-Sayed Rabie- from the children of the Talent Development Center.

- The second prize – valued 15,000 Egyptian pounds, was dedicated to Sharf Ahmed Sharaf - from the Talent Development Center.

- The third prize - value 10,000 Egyptian pounds, was awarded to Jannat Youssef Shaaban - from the Talent Development Center - affiliated to the Opera House.
