Palestinian medical sources announced that the Israeli occupation is currently preventing the entry of any medical delegations or supplies and supplies to the Martyr Kamal Adwan Hospital in the town of Beit Lahia, north of the Gaza Strip.
The sources explained, according to what was reported by the Palestinian News Agency "Wafa" today, Thursday, that the hospital suffers from a shortage of water, oxygen and electricity, and the occupation continues to drop bombs on the hospital, as explosions can be heard in its courtyards and at the gates.
They stressed that the hospital is in dire need of repairs related to water and oxygen supplies; however, the occupation is still preventing the entry of any necessary resources to support the health system, indicating that the hospital lacks the specialties necessary to treat most of the injuries, which have reached 85, including 10 cases in need of urgent surgical interventions.
The Palestinian medical sources appealed to the international community to open a humanitarian corridor and allow the entry of medical supplies, equipment and first aid, and to provide international protection for the health system in the northern Gaza Strip
