The Israeli occupation army announced, on Sunday, the closure of the Kerem Shalom crossing with the Gaza Strip to aid trucks after it was exposed to gunfire.
Israeli and Palestinian media reported that there was a bombardment using mortar shells at the crossing, which led to injuries among Israelis.
For its part, Hamas claimed responsibility for the attack, confirming that it targeted an Israeli army base.
