Egyptian Designer Alia Abd El Aziz Presents Fall, Winter 20/21 Night Purses

The night purses collection presented by the Egyptian fashion designer Alia Abd El Aziz had a strong presence in the fourth Gouna Film Festival run this year with many stars and celebrities wearing them on the red carpet.“SeeNews” spoke with the international designer about the latest night purses trends.

Abd El Aziz started by saying that the night purses’ small size is what makes them so special. She continued that she likes her purses to add to the outfit; she used natural genuine leathers in her purses from different animals like cows and use some effects to make it as snakes. She also used some satin fabrics.

*The Gouna Star

The designer announced that Poussy Chalabi’s purse was one of the hardest pieces she ever made seeing as it was made with a technique so similar to the precise jewelry technique. The purse is made of silver painted copper with more than 1000 different sized stones. The purse is wholly handmade and was designed in the shape of the Gouna star as a sign to the festival.

*Silver and Gold

When asked for advice about the night purse whether it is fashionable to wear a purse in the same color as the dress, she answered that it is preferable to wear a purse in the shades of gold, silver and black colors. The designer also announced that all her purses are encrusted with crystal and are handmade.

She also added that her business is based on supporting women who she trained personally in her own workshops seeing and enabling them to present artistic and fashionable pieces.
